I have more than 10 years of experience as a BIM consultant and trainer, helping different types of construction companies and projects adopt and benefit from the BIM methodology. I have published books on BIM methodology and given several conferences on BIM topics. I have a strong background in architectural planning, management, and design.

Education and Technology: The Impact of BIM on University Learning
In this conference, we will explore how BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology is revolutionizing university education in careers related to the construction industry. As technology advances, it is crucial that academic education be adapted to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
We will discuss how BIM not only transforms the way construction projects are designed and managed, but also how it is taught and learned in universities. I will share experiences and results of the implementation of BIM in my classes on architectural design and electrical drawing techniques at Universidad Interamericana and Universidad Tecnol�gica de Panam�.
Participants will be able to learn first-hand strategies for integrating interdisciplinary work and collaborative projects into the academic curriculum, taking learning beyond the traditional classroom. We will also address the challenges and opportunities presented by the adoption of BIM in higher education, and what resources and support are needed to make this initiative a reality.
At the end of the talk, attendees will have a clear vision of how BIM can improve the training of future construction professionals, fostering more hands-on, collaborative and innovative education.
