Bim Expert Brenda Uliana
Graduated from the Universidade Federal do Amap� in architecture and urbanism, in the Amazon region in Brazil, BIM specialist from IPOG in 2022, now she studies AI and Machine Learning at MIT. She worked on educational and healthcare design projects using BIM for the Government of Amap�, then created an architectural design company and launched in 2024 an innovative online platform called YouCreator, which uses BIM, combined with generative AI, machine learning and other tools to accelerate architecture and engineering designs.
What to expect during the event
The trend in the use of BIM is still slow in Brazil, especially in the northern region, in Amazon, it is clear that there are great difficulties in changing behavior, such as the complexity and high cost of BIM softwares. This creates resistance for teams to stop working to learn something new and project deadlines are increasingly shorter. The difficulties in using BIM in Brazil were studied for 4 years, between 2020 and 2024, and were proposed ways to speed up projects with the use of BIM integrated with generative AI, the creation of on-demand templates and a database of updated 3D blocks through the YouCreator Platform, launched to solve the main pain points of Brazilian designers.
