Thomas Tschickardt is a qualified master carpenter and studied international civil engineering and structural engineering in Mainz, Karlsruhe and Kuala Lumpur. Since then, he has been working at Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG as Digital Construction Manager. He supports the introduction of BIM in the company and led the company to ISO 19650 certification. In the pilot project A 10/A 24, he is responsible as BIM Manager for all BIM-relevant topics. In addition, Thomas is engaged in various working groups in Germany, such as the Infra Room at buildingSMART Germany, to advance the standardization process. Since the end of 2020, he has been working on his doctorate in the field of BIM and digitalization at the TU Kaiserslautern, Institute of Concrete Structures and Structural Design.

What to expect during the event

The presentation will be focussed on BIM Quality Assurance, Geometric Check, Semantic Check, Quality Assurance Report and Life Cycle Approach.
