Stefania Dimitrov


BIM and Innovation Manager


Stefania Dimitrov is a doctoral student at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, commencing her studies in 2023. Her research focuses on integrating technologies for mapping within the context of favelas. She holds a degree in architecture and urbanism from the same university, completed in 1999, and has extensive experience in managing social housing projects, developing favela urbanization projects, and drafting urban plans.
Moreover, she works as a BIM consultant for both public and private sectors, notably contributing to the drafting of the BIM Project Handbook for the S�o Paulo City Hall through the Municipal Housing Department, aiming to guide project procurement in this methodology.
Currently, she serves as the BIM and Innovation Manager at Sondot�cnica, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and holds positions such as Secretary of the Special Studies Commission of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (CEE-134), Vice President of Architecture at the National Union of Consulting Engineering Companies, and Administrative Counselor of the BIM Forum Brazil.
