Ryan Connolly is the senior member of WeWork’s Digital Twin and Design Technology team, managing global BIM practices and the Digital Twin fleet for the business. He is currently completing an MBA at the University of Warwick in Coventry, England, researching Digital Twin Methods in design and asset management. He has a master’s degree in architecture and a bachelor’s degree in education.
What to expect during the event
Regardless of the size of an organization, the management of data is paramount to the success of a business. For companies in all sectors, space data often lives in outdated CAD plans and spreadsheets, disconnected from live data used for managing and growing a company. Data that isn’t available is data without value. In this talk, we will present how digital twins, properly built and managed, can provide organizations a live look into their space data. We will show why Revit is a valuable part of a digital twin solution. We show how coordinated Revit and non-Revit data can provide an aligned single source of truth for downstream systems.
