Jędrzej Pasalski
Jędrzej is EPR Architects’ head of BIM. He joined the practice shortly after the opening of the Wrocław studio in 2015 and has since been responsible for leading EPR’s BIM processes, including the development and implementation of BIM design management and BIM standards in both the London, Wrocław and Manchester studios. He helped EPR to achieve the Certificate of Compliance with ISO 19650-2:2018. Jędrzej is passionate about BIM education and philosophy; ensuring that all processes and tools set up by EPR’s BIM teams reflect the actual needs and workflows of design teams. As a member of the ARB and the IARP, he continues to work as an architect (qualified in both the UK and Poland), believing that the effective, efficient use of BIM and Revit is only possible when they directly relate to real design activities. Jędrzej is also an Autodesk Certified Professional and a BIM Level 2 BRE Academy Certified Member.
What to expect during the event
The BIM team- Technicians, Modelers, Coordinators, Managers, Leads. Each of them responsible for different things on different levels, but all for the same goals- high quality of geometry and information in the models achieved by auditing and compliance checks; efficiency in workflows among the design team members, following constant development of skills; standardisation- unified and undoubtful across the studios, based on the best practices and lessons learned. Nevertheless, besides the wide diversity of tasks and duties, every BIM team member has their passion and personal goals. These should follow the business policy and the appetite coming from the clients. The presentation will be a guidance on how to find a proper balance between different roles within the team, but also between the tasks and passions.
