What to expect during the event

Interspersed with evidence of the use of tools and technology through our digital by default strategy, Colin will present how the approach to delivery of “industry-leading” information management has been shaped and improved over the last 12months, presenting evidence from several projects which showcase the paradigm shift in client appetite, complexities of deployment and solutions including introduction of a front-facing Information Management function that is now extending beyond construction and into the wider business. Underpinned by an originally innovative response to ISO 19650, Kier Construction’s information management approach has allowed technology integration that supports and enriches project delivery to drive improved business performance. Kier holds a BSI Kitemark associated with our overarching processes and response to ISO 19650 and our approach to supply chain BIM capability assessment and information delivery planning have been acknowledged by BSI as industry leading best practice. Colin will discuss changes in culture, behaviours and mindset that have shaped our continued improvement and what we are development roadmap looks like. This will help attendees learn about: What information management means to us; Why we have introduced a technical function to support delivery of our requirements; How we have improved our platform of excellence in response to ISO 19650; Discuss challenges of upskilling, knowledge sharing and training; Our plan for the future of our function
