Andrew is a member of the Arcadis Global Design & Engineering Services Team. He is responsible for the strategy and implementation of BIM & Design Automation initiatives in the Standardisation and Automation corporate transformation programme.
What to expect during the event
BIM has been on a long journey, with some arguing it has been around since the 1970’s-80’s. But like a lot of the AEC industry it too is going through a Digital Transformation. But where could BIM be heading? In this presentation and discussion we will be exploring where BIM could be going, where it might merge with other areas, and question where could it become ubiquitous to many other areas. Key areas covered will be how BIM could alter through other important emerging themes such as Information Management,. Digital Twins and Metaverse. Also where could those that work in BIM see their role head to in the coming 5 years.
