What to expect during the event
From a fragmented set of existing data sources to utilizing Revit as a visual-led buildings database, this talk describes the process required to refine large data sets and combine it with powerful 3D visuals in a single environment for stakeholder interaction. A cross-section of what architects might encounter during a project’s lifecycle is represented and there are lessons to be learned regardless of the stage. Attendees will learn how to apply innovative techniques to manage, process and visualise data through Revit and how to refine it further.
Throughout the process, we used multiple tools to augment the process and really bring the data to life, including Rhino & Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside.Revit, Revit & Dynamo, ImaginIt Clarity and PowerBI. All phases of the workflow will be presented and we will consider the reason behind the use of each tool, roadblocks encountered and share how we arrived at the ultimate solution.
