Mr. Attila Vidra is the Digital Lead for Land Development in the Middle East at Atkins/SNC Lavalin. Mr. Vidra has a proven ability to develop and implement BIM/Digital strategies for project management support all along the project lifecycle. He possesses more than 14 years of professional experience with extensive knowledge working with multi-billion-dollar projects, since 2008. Mr. Vidra has spent the last ten years of his professional career working in the GCC region.
Mr. Vidra holds a (BSc) degree in architecture from the Technical University in Pecs, Hungary, and he has graduated as Master of Business Administration at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. He is a member of the Project Management Institute as Project Management Professional (PMP). He completed a course with Harvard Business School about Sustainable Business Strategy.
Mr. Vidra lives in Dubai, UAE and joined Atkins/SNC Lavalin in 2022. He aspires to help strengthen the company’s skillset, provide valuable expertise, and create and inspire enduring solutions around the world.

 What to expect during the event

This presentation has been prepared to showcase Atkins’ digital delivery process and giving insight into some of our solutions for digitization and automation of design.
It kicks-off with the quick introduction of the presenter and his background and continues with the two main objectives: digitization and automation of design.
Digitization will showcase Atkins’ internal standard methodology tool, Global Design Framework (GDF) which provides a structured information management approach to bidding, planning and delivering multi-discipline design projects. Furthermore, the MIDP online tool facilitating collaboration between all project stakeholders to maintain and manage all project deliverables.
In the automation section as solution will be presented for automated clash dashboard via the integration of Navisworks and PowerBI and concludes with some exciting examples for automation solutions in authoring tools, digital twin and asset classification and management.
