COBie’s popularity is increasing as the value of consistent deliverables is better understood. In the UK, it is now one of the three open data formats required by the National Annex to ISO 19650-2. Yet it is often misunderstood, inconsistently delivered or even ignored completely until the very last point of project delivery. So, what do we do about that? This back-to-basics session led by Nigel Davies, Director at Evolve Consultancy and information exchange specialist, explains exactly what COBie is, and what it isn’t. You will learn how the fields should be completed, and how model information should be structured to deliver COBie effectively.
